This week we had an AMA in the MEXC Exchange Telegram chat, where Donna Lee, as Head of Global Marketing for RoboFi, answered questions from the MEXC Exchange community. Unfortunately, we could not answer everyone’s questions due to the overwhelming interest. We really liked how it went down, and we hope to have another one sometime soon! Below is the recap from the AMA:
Host : Today, we’re honored to have Donna Lee, Head of Global Marketing, in our community to give us a more intuitive introduction to their unique project. Welcome Donna, would you like to say hello and introduce yourself first?

Sure! Hello, everyone, Thank you for your time today. My name is Donna and I am very happy to be here. I am also here with my team. Personally, I have been in the financial software industry for over 8 years and have worked on marketing for a B2B trading software for clients such as investment banks, hedge funds, and prop trading firms. Personally, I have been engaged in the crypto industry for over 6 years and In the past 2 years, I have engaged in custodian crypto wallet business, and now I am here to spread how awesome the RoboFi project is :)
Host : Nice to have you with us!! Now we’ll be asking 5 questions about RoboFi to let our community know how awesome you are! What is RoboFi? Can you share with us more in detail?
Donna Lee : RoboFi (www.robofi.io) is a DeFi platform that envisions a marketplace for revolutionary Dao crypto trading bots. With the effective use of blockchain technology, #RoboFi seeks to bring consensus between bot creators and users in an ecosystem that encourages mutual financial growth and innovation. Over the last 12 months, we identified the lack of a platform that allows bot creators to share their bots easily to their potential users. Our goal is to allow bot creators to sell and raise funds for their bots easily, as well as for our users to have a platform that provides bots with reliable performance and security. Therefore, we started development on a project that supports the trustless interactions between bot creators and users. Users will be able to store their bot tokens in our non-custody wallet as well as harvest their bot tokens to enjoy the yield earned by the bots.
Some of the innovations in this project include the introduction of the IBO (Initial Bot Offering) process and the harvesting of rewards earned by bots while holding the bot tokens.
Host : it’s something rare in the industry that you guys do — sounds really intriguing!
What triggers you to launch RoboFi? What are some of the real-world problems/ pain points that RoboFi aims to solve?
Donna Lee : As mentioned, we have been working in crypto trading industry for over 10 years. While we were trading as the institution, we realized that retail investors have no access to institution-grade of crypto trading bots. Host : innovative !! What is the role of $VICS in RoboFi? Would you tell us more about its tokenomics?
Donna Lee : RoboFi project comes with 2 types of tokens: 1) VICS tokens that is the main token for the ecosystem. VICS is the main token, used as a “must” for Bots to participate into the RoboFi Ecosystem and do the IBO. , VICS will be used whenever users stake and use our services like when they purchase crypto trading bots. Bot creators will need to hold VICS to payout the profit of trading. Currently you can get VICS token on MEXC Global 😊
Every bot created in our ecosystem will come with their own set of Bot Tokens as well. IBO contributors will be getting Bot tokens in return for the VICS that they contribute. These Bot tokens will be used for Bot governance and rewards harvesting.

Host : What about the other type of token?
Donna lee : Oh! We have bot token. 2) the Bot tokens that are unique to each bot they represent. Each bot has 2 types of bot tokens: Governance-bot-token (G-) and Certificate-bot-token (C-). Via IBO, bots can raise fund from community to do its trading. Users can stake crypto assets into bots and get Certificate-bot-token. Users can also buy Governance-bot-token to gain governance power (via voting) to bot. Both types of bot tokens (G- or C-) can help users to earn rewards from bot trading activities
Host : Awesome! thanks for the elaboration. Are there any exciting news or updates with regards to RoboFi that you would like to share with the users?
Donna lee : Yes. Our mainnet will be coming by the end of this month! That will be the big thing for us. And we will focus on growing our TVL and listing more of external bots from talented bot creators.
Host : can’t wait to see the mainnet, moving on to our last question for this part. If you were to summarize your project in ONE word, what would it be? Why?
Donna Lee : Bringing The Most Reliable Crypto Trading Bots to EVERYONE. People tend to think using crypto trading bots are hard. But we want to challenge this belief. We will try our best to make EVERYONE accessible to crypto trading bots.

Community : Hi, we all know that more than 60% crypto trading is being monopolized by the bots, how can RoboFi increase new investor into crypto world as it is too volatile?
Donna Lee : This is why we created RoboFi — Crypto Trading Bots Marketplace. The problem today is.. retail investors cannot take profit due to the market volatility. Retail investors cannot fight against bots. We give the accessibility of “Profitable” crypto trading bots to retail users so that they can use crypto trading bots in their trading with the easiest way ever. We will make sure to bring crypto trading bots to EVERYONE!
Community : PARTNERS are the most important that strengthen the ecosystems of all projects. Could you tell us about your project partners and the partnership strategy it has adopted?
Donna Lee : Good questions. We are currently working on the partnership and already contracted with reputable exchanges and we will announce it very soon :)
Community : Can you list 1–3 killer features of this project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about?
Donna Lee : Our team members have been in financial industry more than 10 years. We are well connected in the industry and all of us coming from banking or trading or tech side. Community : According to the project’s roadmap- what are your most important next priorities?
Donna Lee : We are working on crypto market but in the long-term we want to be one stop solution including traditional asset such as equities and forex too!
Community : How can RoboFi convince the people who has not a single knowledge about crypto world to get in the project?
Donna Lee : Our priority is to make it accessible. Therefore, our crypto trading bots will be used by any person :)
